Hi Prisma Families!
A trip to Universal Studios Resort area is in the planning stages for Thursday, April 25th - Sunday, April 28th. We need 10 families to commit to the trip to receive the group pricing for the hotel rooms and 10 students to commit to going to Universal to obtain the group ticket pricing for the parks.
I choose two hotels that seem to have a lot of activities for families and put an option in the survey to do hotel only activities. I've included links to look at both hotels. I have never stayed at either resort, so if you have, I'd love to hear your feedback! I look forward to hearing your thoughts in the survey. Reach out if you have any thoughts or questions!

Start your Prisma school year off on the right foot with other Prisma friends and families at the second clearest lake of more than 10,000 in northern Minnesota! A "pop-up" hub that refuses to see the end of summer bringing together up to 10 families at the lake! Warm days, warm water, loons and lake cottages! The entire resort will be ours - this is one not to miss! Race you to the water!
Resort is located three hours from MSP airport or 2 hours from Fargo airport - 12 miles from Walker, Minnesota.
In September 2021 the Walker Family (Story and Hattie’s parents - Jenna and Matty) purchased a small mom and pop resort in northern MN. Throughout 2021 they have been renovating it and for the second year in a row - Prisma Lake week will take over the resort’s 9 cabins, lodge and big house!
We will be taking over the entire property. In order to do so we must have 9 families committed to make this experience possible. Private cabins are 2-3 bedrooms and sleep up to 6 people. The discounted rate will be $1295/week + MN sales tax. If you are not traveling with your full family, individual “big house” rooms will be available per room at $130/night and sleep 2 people.

Please note, think of this more like a family vacation than a camp. Parent supervision required of your own kids and cooking your own meals (or potlucks!) - and the fun we have will be what we plan as families! Think pop-up games of capture the flag or beach olympics - but we are the source of fun as families.
